Linked Product Swatches started with a recurring ecommerce problem: stores wanted the familiar feel of variation swatches without losing the SEO advantages of separate product pages.
Standard WooCommerce variations are useful, but they compress important product options into one URL. For products where color, finish, material or model deserves its own page, that can limit SEO content, indexing opportunities and merchandising flexibility.
